Diversity Compliance

The Diversity Compliance office performs many functions at the District level. Some of these functions are: (1) to provide technical assistance to Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) personnel, focusing on compliance with various federal laws, state statutes and regulations, and School Board Rules regarding diversity, equal opportunity, and equal access in employment and educational services/programs; (2)to investigate complaints and/or charges of discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment, filed by employees, students and their parents, and applicants; and (3) to monitor the District's compliance with the Post Unitary Status Plan of Action.
